More Kittens Coming!

I am currently fostering some kittens, and will be posting photos and videos soon!

Fruit Juice has been adopted!

Miss Fruit Juice has been adopted (11/22/08) and is in her new home!

Congratulations Fruit Juice! We will miss you at ACP, but we are SO PLEASED you have a great new forever home, and send all our love to you!

New Fruit Juice Photos!

Here are some new photos of Fruit Juice. While she is waiting to get adopted, she is improving her lap cat skills! She will crawl into a lap and settle in for as long as you want. She can be independent as well, but she does love petting and lap time.

Here are some new photos. If you think you might have a place in your life for this sweet cat, contact A Caring Place and apply to adopt her!

Happy Adoption Day Mushroom!

May you live a long and happy life with your new family.

Love Always,
Your Foster Family and A Caring Place

Happy Adoption Day, Toast and Cream Cheese!

Toast and Cream Cheese have been adopted!

[Mushroom and Fruit Juice are still available!]

All the kittens have had a long couple weeks. They went to PetSmart for a kitten shower fundraiser for the shelter, and they went back again this weekend. And Toast and Cream Cheese got adopted!

Here is a video I made of the kittens on their adoption day. I hope you enjoy it!

This weekend the Breakfast Bunch is thirteen weeks old. They all are back from the vet after being fixed. Everyone is doing well. Even Fruit Juice was done, which means she can go up for adoption too! We have some hissing and such as everyone gets used to each other again (they were all separated for a few days), but everyone is doing just fine.

Here are the updated Petfinder descriptions which are going to go up, along with the new photos that I took. I hope you enjoy it!

*Mushroom*

Mushroom is a strikingly beautiful grey and silver female tabby. Born on 2/24/08, she is ready for her forever home! Her siblings are Toast and Cream Cheese, and her mother is Fruit Juice. She was rescued as a two-week old by A Caring Place from a euthanize shelter when her time was up. Since being rescued she has lived in a foster home that has provided socialization and love to get her ready for her forever home.

Mushroom is a very active and playful kitten. She loves loves *loves* playing with interactive toys, so setting aside playtime with her will help her bond to her new family. She also loves to run and climb and wrestle with her siblings. She is a small kitten, and while she has a lot of growing left, will not be a very big cat.

When she has had enough playtime she is very affectionate, happily climbing into your lap for a nap and some snuggles. And an added cute fact about her – all her pawpads are purplish grey—except for one pink toe! It just adds to her adorableness. She will be a wonderful pet, and hopes you consider adopting her!

*Toast*

Toast is an incredibly handsome orange and brown tabby. Born on 2/24/08, he is ready for his forever home! His siblings are Cream Cheese and Mushroom, and his mother is Fruit Juice. He was rescued as a two-week old by A Caring Place from a euthanize shelter when his time was up. Since being rescued he has lived in a foster home that has provided socialization and love to get him ready for his forever home.

Toast is a great kitten, who is growing up to be a fantastic cat. He is hardy and energetic, with a rough-and-tumble can-take-on-anything attitude. He also has a very healthy self-esteem – this is a guy who knows what he wants! He is also a talker—when you see him he wants to tell you about his day, and is a great conversationalist.

He is the largest of his litter, and is on track to being a fairly large if his paws are any indication! He is happy to be held and petted and will run up to you and ‘check in’ while playing to make sure he didn’t miss anything. He will be a great pet, and is hoping you consider adopting him!

*Cream Cheese*

Cream Cheese is a gorgeous cream tabby with striking circle patterns in his fur. Born on 2/24/08, he is ready for his forever home! His siblings are Toast and Mushroom, and his mother is Fruit Juice. He was rescued as a two-week old by A Caring Place from a euthanize shelter when his time was up. Since being rescued he has lived in a foster home that has provided socialization and love to get him ready for his forever home.

Cream Cheese is a mellow and loving kitten who has wisdom beyond his years. He is very affectionate, running up to people for love. He simply melts when being held, and likes being held like a baby and kissed. He is well behaved and gentle with people, and can run and jump and play with the best of kittens.

Cream Cheese is not a very large kitten, and looks like he will grow up to be a medium sized cat. He is a simply fantastic kitten that will be a great addition to almost any home. And if that home could be yours, please consider adopting him!

*Fruit Juice*

Fruit Juice is a beautiful orange and cream female tabby. Fruit Juice and her three two-week-old kittens were rescued by A Caring Place from a euthanize shelter in March when her time was up. Since being rescued she has lived in a foster home that has provided socialization and love to get her ready for her forever home.

Fruit Juice is a sweet, loving, and gentle cat. She loves being petted and wants as much affection as you have to give her. She is also exceptionally gentle and sweet. When she came to us she felt uncomfortable being held, but after some time and effort she is on her way to being a great lap cat. She is also very playful, once she feels comfortable. She loves to play on a cat tree and play with toys and play chase with other cats.

She is a bit shy though, and gets scared by loud noises or sudden movements. Because of this, she needs a quieter home without a lot of activity. However, if you have the right type of home, she will give you all the love you can imagine.

Breakfast Bunch - Ten Weeks Old

This weekend my foster kittens turned 10 weeks old! This is the time they are ready to be separated from their mother, but since we are doing shots and spay / neuter, they will be with me for a few more weeks.

They are doing just great, running around and playing and eating like crazy. Fruit Juice is not doing quite as well—she has gone into heat (hence, no photos below of her). While she isn’t going to be making any more kittens, she isn’t having a fun time with it. My cats can also tell she is in heat, and while they are fixed, they are still affected by it.

It is great she is going to be spayed though… if she were given the chance, she would have another litter of kittens soon! Not only that, in just a couple months, all the kittens would be able to start having kittens of their own. It is wonderful to know she has had her last litter of kittens, but it is sad to think of all the cats and kittens out there who are breeding like crazy and don’t have homes.

Anyway, enough with that talk, I hope you enjoy the photos!

Here is Mushroom!

Here is Cream Cheese.

Cream Cheese and Toast together, aren’t they adorable??

And last, Little Toast. He did not want to leave the sunbeam for anything!

Yay, kittens!

Breakfast Bunch - Nine Weeks Old

So, this is a video of the foster cats! It is a little long, but I wanted to show each of the cats.

Hope you enjoy it!
